We have exciting news! Sarah Guiliani will be at With Hook in Hand August 23-25, 2013 for a portrait workshop. Sarah is an accredited McGown teacher and director of the ATHA Region 1 School in Litchfield, CT. Her specialty is faces and animal portraits as well as fine shading, sculpturing and wide-cut animals. She teaches beginners to advanced students. Do you have that photo of parents or a grandchild you would like to make last for generations? Or an animal you would like to hook? Sign up early as this class is going to fill up fast! A $100 deposit must be paid by June 15th. Call us for more information!

The daffodils and forsythia are in full bloom, the traffic is increasing, and soon it will be summer on Cape Cod. We look forward to welcoming back our summer visitors to the shop. We have resumed normal business hours, Monday through Saturday, 10 AM-4 PM.
We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible people to join our staff. People should have knowledge of the basics of hooking and be able to work Saturdays. Why not share your love of hooking with others and enjoy a discount off hooking supplies? Stop in or call the shop and speak with Norma or Robin to arrange a meeting.
For the month of May we will be offering 20% off our Americana patterns and kits. This will also include red and blue dyed and off-the-bolt wools! Come in and see our Crowin’ for the Red, White, and Blue pattern or the runner that is a favorite.
There are only a few spots left for our workshop with Nancy Blood, October 17th, 18th, and 19th. Sign up now! Deposit must be paid by July 1st.
The girls have been busy designing new patterns. Come in and see Kathy’s Moonshell sternboard and her Anchor A-wave. Doreen has added to our Cape Cod line with Jewels of the Sea. We are anxious for you to see them!
