This is a really good value if your instrument has needed a repair and you have been putting it off for fear of the cost being too high as well as with any setup that includes having the frets dressed. Especially great if you need a custom bone nut and saddle upgrade for your acoustic guitar as well as shaping a custom nut and saddle can be some of the more expensive upgrades. This is a Del Oro "Lucky #7" Archtop guitar that was manufactured by Kay back in the 1930's. It really is amazing and shows what guitars back in the 1930's were already capable of becoming.

I am in the process of restoring her and that's required repairing a couple of wood cracks in the top of the sound board running down and through the F-hole toward the bottom side of the guitar. I was already successfully able to seal and repair one of the cracks and the second one shouldn't be a problem.

Other than polishing these ancient trees and giving the instrument a good clean up I'd really like to be able to replicate the hand painted art that was painted on all of these guitars over 100 years ago.

I will be listing this FOR SALE once I have it fully restored and strung back up and playing again. Let me know if you are interested or if you have any questions.

New personal project! This thing is in rough shape so it looks like I’m going to have my hands full with this one. Luckily, the pickups that were in it ended up being diamonds in the rough!

Also! My Google Business page is all messed up so I apologize that a lot of the information on there is wrong and not current. I got locked out of my page somehow and Google wants an arm and a leg to verify I’m the owner . Apparently my paperwork from the government isn’t good enough they want a video? Anyways…. Today I will be driving all around the area and I will be doing setups for anybody that wants one. Whether it's a bass, acoustic guitar, or an electric guitar. As long as you are within the radius I set about 40 miles from where I am at in East Alton, IL I will come to you. Here is the big catch. All of these setups are going to be over HALF OFF my usual pricing for such an intensive and transformative setup and adjustments to your instrument. If you already have a fresh pack of strings on you then you will get a rad setup from me, I'll come to you, and it will only take maybe 20 minutes, for $20. If you don't have any new strings and don't want to really buy strings I can just use the ones that are currently on your guitar, I will grab a few of the cheap packs that I have around the shop and bring them as extras just in case . It is 20 minutes to 8 AM right now so everybody has until exactly 5PM this evening to get in touch with me and to be able to get this crazy deal and awesome service. I know I haven't posted anything for a good long while, but I temporarily closed down during the Christmas season this last year due to the fact that for the last 6 years I have had Guitar Butler open, I have not received 1 single customer during the months of December, January, February, and most of March and November. To me it just is obvious that nobody has the extra cash during the Holidays to blow on guitars and they have to buy gifts for their families, plus a lot of guitar players are just as broke and poor as I am. Lol
Business always seemed to just bounce right back at the beginning of April and maybe a couple weeks in March. Can you guess why this is? Tax refunds! However, this past April I wasnt getting any calls, or texts, or anything at all. So, May 31st I officially , temporarily closed? Even more so? I guess lol.
