Making progress!

Today was a long day of moving fixtures, unloading products, and beginning the setup process for our new space.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who helped pack at our house, unload at the store, clean fixtures, and jump in wherever needed. All the support we’ve received this week has made this possible.

A special shoutout to our dads for lending their time, skills, wisdom, and connections. We couldn’t have done this without you.
Little by little, our vision is taking shape, and we’re excited to bring ethical, artisan-made goods to Eagle River.

On the other side of things…

For those of you who are new, A Beautiful Calling has been in operation for a year and a half as an online and pop-up boutique shop, based out of our house.

In preparation for the move, our home is currently filled with boxes and boxes and boxes of handcrafted ethically made goods!

Can you picture it yet?

Right now it’s an empty space. Soon, it will be filled with artisan-made goods, ethically sourced coffee and tea, thoughtfully curated gifts, and products that help create dignified work around the world.

We’re designing this space to be more than just a store. We want it to be a place where people can slow down, discover something meaningful, enjoy a cup of coffee, and connect with their community.

It’s still a work in progress, but standing here and imagining everything that’s to come is pretty exciting.

What would be the first section you’d head toward: coffee & tea, leather bags, jewelry, clothing, home goods, or kids’ gifts?

End of Day 3 update!

After 11 months of dish duty for a family of six, this scrubber is clocking out.

And since we don’t have a working dishwasher, this little thing has really put in the work. 💪

Thousands of dishes later, it’s finally time to open the second scrubber that came in the package. One purchase has covered nearly two years’ worth of dishes in our home. 🤩

This has become one of those products I recommend without hesitation:

• Naturally antimicrobial
• Doesn’t get smelly
• Safe on delicate surfaces
• Lasts an incredibly long time

Not bad for something that spends its life in a sink.
