Jasper is basically nature’s pattern library.

Some pieces look like desert landscapes, some look like broken stone healed back together, and others show orbs, flower-like patterns, or deep green with red “blood” spots.

But here’s the part collectors know well: not everything sold as “jasper” is actually jasper. Trade names can get messy fast.

I love labradorite!

When light hits Labradorite at the right angle, hidden layers inside the mineral scatter and reflect light, creating electric flashes of blue, green, gold, and even purple. This phenomenon is called labradorescence.
