I am so excited about JoAnn's Market & Cafe that award winning chef Ashlyn Smith just opened around the corner in memory of her late mother, JoAnn. She made this such a fun place because her mom loved a good party. I feel those fun vibes in every piece of this store plus the food is amazing, like my meatloaf sandwich. The market is fueled by local women entrepreneurs like me from . She is featuring Som's specialty Tea LEMONAIDs, like Ginger Turmeric, Strawberry Green, and Cherry Rose. Plus our coffee and teas to go with their amazing food and pastries. Check them out for a party for your mouth!!

This past week marked the 1 year anniversary of my mom's passing into eternal life, which we commemorated with a butterfly-themed tea party symbolizing her transition from a body afflicted by pain to a glorified one. Following a year-long hiatus to recover, I am pleased to resume posting. The accompanying photograph of my mom was taken at a tea party we had together. So many of the beautiful things at my table are from her and all of my grandmothers. It's a fun way to remember them all.

I so enjoyed an impromptu tea party with amazing Gabi, Staci, and her team from Gabi's Grounds . This amazing young woman has overcome so much rejection and adversity - when no one would hire her she started her own company and hired others with "Super" abilities, not disabilities.
