“And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap”
We created this sweet little shadowbox for a clients great-grandfather’s kerchief. This is a wonderful way to preserve the item while still being able to view it and use it. We used barrel hinges and rare earth magnets to allow for easy access to the item. Optium Acrylic ensures non-glare, shatterproof, and static free viewing. The kerchief is suspended by a simple cotton bow, passed through the back to allow it to be taken out and held at a moments notice. We really enjoyed framing this family heirloom.
