2025 in one word - SURVIVED
I came into this year still carrying the grief of having to close my brick and mortar the previous Fall. Shortly after, my family was hit with the news that my dad’s cancer had reached the point where we would only have about a couple more months left with him. I withdrew after his passing and wondered if it even made sense to keep going with the business.
But then came you, my beautiful community of friends, family, customers, creatives, and fellow stationery shop owners. Without you, Honeypress would have never made it to the end of the year.
So I thank you. Your support as always means the world to me, especially when I am unable to be the most present.
I’m not going to make any grand declarations of 2026 being our year (even though it is the Year of the Horse, my zodiac animal). This year, my focus is on continuing to foster our community and making sure that stationery will always be with an E - E stands for everybody.
