There’s a reason our grandparents kept a jar of tallow in the kitchen! ❤️ And now this old-fashioned cooking staple is making a BIG comeback.

We have beautifully rendered beef tallow from Baker Homestead Tallow here at the store—and it’s ready to put to work in your kitchen! 🐄

So, what makes tallow so great?

🔥 High heat cooking: Tallow has a high smoke point, making it excellent for frying, roasting, sautéing and cooking at higher temperatures.

🍳 Adds incredible flavor: It gives potatoes, vegetables, eggs and meats that delicious, rich, savory flavor you just can’t get from many modern cooking oils.

🥔 Amazing for crispy foods: Use it for fried potatoes, homemade French fries, roasted vegetables and more for that perfectly crispy finish!
