🌱 I’m happy to share this month’s featured local artist (one of 15 in our shop!):
Allyson Coraggio is an outdoors-loving, adventure-seeking maker who calls Durango home. She spends her time hiking, biking, camping, paddleboarding, and traveling whenever possible.

🚵‍♂️ Making earrings is her creative outlet—a way to slow down, get hands-on, and give new life to materials that might otherwise be thrown away.

🚲 These unique earrings shown hear are crafted from upcycled bike tires sourced from a local Durango bike shop. They’re lightweight, durable, and waterproof—perfect for everyday wear and outdoor adventures alike. Each pair gives new life to materials that would otherwise go to waste, making them both sustainable and stylish.

🌍Happy Earth Day!

I have committed my life to finding new and old ways of living in relationship to the Earth. To understanding the incredible gifts of nature (think fire, water, air, and soil) where all life is born. Life is a powerful force, a diverse expression of eons of evolution. Take notice of nature today and everyday.

My prayers for Earth Day:

🌱 May humans find ways to connect more nature to itself as stewards and protectors.

🌞May each and everyone of us slow down and breath in the wonders of nature and take this knowing into how we make decisions everyday, at home, and at work.

💧May we choose to support sustainable innovations, businesses, and the earth friendly material revolution that is happening now.

🌵May we imagine a future for our children and grandchildren… where humans and nature mutually flourish.

Sometimes all it takes to lift my spirit is a glimpse of nature. A pear tree full of white blossoms. The sounds of birds singing and flitting around. Seeds planted with hope and prayers in the garden now popping thru the soil. 💚

I found these copper garden stakes to bring that sense of calm, joy, and natural wonder to you and your home. They are perfect for indoor plants as well, bringing a little wildlife inside.

💧🪴The beautiful woven fibers you see here come from the Water Hyacinth plant, which is one of the fastest-growing plants in the world. Hyacinth are capable of doubling its population in as little as 6 to 18 days. It grows as a free-floating aquatic perennial, thriving on the surface of slow-moving freshwaters like ponds, lakes, and rivers. 💚

Handcrafted by women artisans working in the Tenganan Village in Eastern Bali, these woven handbags are made by master weavers with skills that have been passed down and perfected over generations.

The bags are handwoven from renewable and sustainable Ata vines, hand-picked then dried under the sun. Each bag is then hung over a fire for several days, allowing the heat and smoke from the fire to cure them. This is what gives them their golden color, and makes them hard and durable so they will last generations.

☀️Morning, happy weekend!

I work hard to curate for you sustainable clothing and goods that are well made and stylish.

💚 Linen is one of my favorite fabrics. Linen is not only soft and breezy, but highly sustainable.

🌱 It’s is made from the resilient flax plant, requiring minimal water, no pesticides, and little to no fertilizers.

🍃 The entire plant is used (zero waste), it is biodegradable, and it is exceptionally durable. Its production also helps improve soil health and captures significant carbon.

👚 Our 100% linen tops by pictured here just arrived and I’m having trouble keeping them in stock! I just received another batch today so pop in. They pair nicely with a matching 100% cotton blue maxi skirt for the perfect spring outfit.

These blouses run a little big so try a few sizes for the best fit, and if you’re purchasing online grab a size down.
