We were nervous about our son going into Kindergarten after having some struggles in preschool. He ended up having a fabulous first year in elementary school! For those of you that don't know, our son Jensen was born 3 months early and spent the first 90 days of his life in the NICU. Looking at him now, you'd never guess he had such a rough start to life. I'm so thankful for everyone that has helped him learn and grow throughout the past 6 1/2 years.

I painted this for his Kindergarten teacher as a thank you for such a wonderful year. It's by far the most complicated thing I've painted and at times I was like 'why did I think I could do this?!' but I like really how it turned out. I used a photo I took on Valentine's Day as a reference. His teacher was reading off the winners of the Minute-To-Win It challenges we had just played and they were about to open their Valentine's Day cards. It was a special day! ❤️

I took a little break from painting to make some cool beaded earrings. The little turtles are my favorite out of this bunch! Contemplating if I should sell some or keep them all for myself, lol. I love fun earrings! My little earring holder is full of cute ones I've made and collected over the years.

Hi, I'm Jennika. I'm the artist behind all of these paintings. Still questioning if I know what the heck I'm doing. Learning more with every painting.
