This floor is a pine herringbone design floor. Naturally pine has a lot of tannin, our client didn't want that orange hue.

We sanded the floor back to bare wood. Sanded smooth. Filled the gaps.

We applied a white lye to the floor from WOCA to keep the tannins back and then applied a WOCA penetrating extra white oil.

This is not a cat house! 😸

A friend asked me to fix his facade.
He wanted a modern yet natural-looking finish, as ecological as possible. We chose to use thermally modified FSC Pinewood and achieved the natural color with an eco-friendly WOCA Exterior Wood Oil. This finish brings out the stunning natural woodgrain and gives the façade decent UV protection.

We kept the edges of the boards ‘not exactly straight’ to give the black lines a very playful and natural edge.

Love how this one stands out.

Always a fan of bringing in a wood element to dress up a vaulted ceiling. In an effort to minimize any yellow in this pine and to prevent the typical ambering that happens as wood ages, we treated it with WOCA Wood Lye. The result was exactly what we were hoping for!⁠
