Gabriel's Used Bookstore

Gabriel's is a 2,200 square foot bookstore located in the friendly Lakeside/Lester Park neighborhood of Duluth,MN next to the lake walk.

We specialize in old and used books and feature an audio and video collection and a large children's book section.

On Earth Day, we're reminded how powerful it is to keep books in circulation by giving them second (and third!) lives, one story at a time.

Come visit us this week, browse, chat, and help us celebrate sustainability, stories, and the joy of used books. We’d love to see you.

We're sad to say that our bookstore will be closing soon. But even though we won’t be here much longer, we still want to make sure you know about the other great local bookstores in the area.

Over the next few weeks, we'll be highlighting some of our favorites. These shops are run by good people who love books just as much as we do.

We’d love to see you before we close, but we also hope you’ll stop by and support these other local spots. They’re worth a visit.

The Final Chapter is Near...

After so many wonderful years, our story is coming to a close. In just a few short weeks, we’ll be closing our doors for good. It’s bittersweet, but mostly, we’re filled with deep gratitude for the community that’s supported us every step of the way.

As a thank you, we’re giving away FREE BOOKS! Yes, you read that right, come in, say goodbye, and take home some stories to remember us by.

Please spread the word and help us give our books a good home.

Our shelves are still brimming with so many great books, all waiting for their new homes! But time is ticking, we only have a few short weeks left and we'd love to share as many as we can with the community.

This weekend, we had a group of awesome kiddos roll in on rollerblades and it was a blast! We encourage everyone, whether on foot, bike, or rollerblades, to come by and check out what we have before it's all gone. Come on down and find your next great read!
