Here's a fabulous 63" piece of willow that has a ton of character! It's what I call "zombie willow," because it was dead on the outside, but live on the inside when I found it. I carved away the outer decay to reveal beautiful colors. The diamonds are raised because of the carved away sapwood - a real nice effect!

Ever heard of a "thumb stick?" They are popular in Europe, but I don't see them much around here. You use the fork in a stick to hollow out a place for the thumb and voila! A thumb stick. This one had to be a thumb stick because of the perfect fork and deformed diamonds that fit the hand so very well! It's 47" long and weighs less than a pound.

Here's a 58" stunner that's more diamond than sapwood! I love the curves and colors!

This diamond willow delight is a 39-inch cane with a 3-inch diameter rootball for a handle. The diamonds on this piece are like nothing I've seen before! Large diamonds are filled with smaller, deep diamonds. Too many to count!
