Caden Harris, a 13-year-old from Atlanta, has already made a name for himself in financial education. He and his parents launched a program in 2011 to teach kids about money, using a purchased 54-seat bus as a traveling classroom to visit local schools. Caden has reached about 50,000 children and set a goal of teaching 500,000.
Despite his youth, Caden just graduated high school. He’s also taken some college courses, though he’s pausing to consider whether higher education is the right path for him now. His efforts extend beyond the bus: he offers webinars, flashcards, activity books, and other resources to support family financial education.
