We are a three-store chain of Indie bookstores on the Outer Banks of NC. Our stores offer all books on all subjects, including local interest and a large children's department. Each store, however, is unique so it's worth visiting them all to see what's on offer! While we are open every day, including Sunday, our hours vary by store and season.

Sad news folks! Our book signing with Ruby Bridges will be POSTPONED until next Friday 12/30, 6-8 pm. We are working hard to contact everyone who has already purchased or put on hold a copy of her book, but we don’t have everyone’s contact information. If you have purchased or put a book on hold and you won’t be able to make this new date please give us a call and we’ll figure out the best way to get a signed copy to you. Tonight’s Christmas Village in Corolla is also cancelled, and our Corolla location will be closing early at 3:30 today to ensure our staff gets home safely. Everyone stay safe and have a Merry Christmas! Please contact us with any concerns you may have. Thank you all for your understanding!
