We brewed a Dark Cellar Imperial Stout coming in with a specific gravity of 1.132

Let me be honest with everyone. I love what I do. This is my favorite store in town. But..... it's time for my next chapter.
RETIREMENT!!!!
Don't hit them panic buttons yet. I am giving everyone a solid heads-up. My plan is as follows;
For the rest of April, May and June, it's business as usual. The shop will remain stocked with all our favorite items. Won't be any changes.
Starting in July, I will begin clearance pricing and reducing the inventory. The goal is to be out by the end of August.
My recommendation; stock up on what you need during the latter part of June and into July. After that, no promises. Get them unused gift certificates used up. Items to keep in mind, things like dry yeast, dry malt extracts and some other items have long shelf lives. Hops can be stored in the freezer for future use also.
I'll post updates along the way and we will talk more.

What a great evening for DaSOBs end of year meeting!! Tricia and myself wish to say Thank You and Merry Christmas to those who attended and to those who were unable to make it this year.
Looking forward to this group of home brewers again in 2026 and and all the tasty beers they will undoubtedly brew up!

November 29th. As of now, it looks like I won’t be opening today due to the snow.
