National Bighorn Sheep Center Wild Sheep, Wildlife, and Wildlands The National Bighorn Sheep Center serves as the Dubois, Wyoming Visitors Center. Please visit our website at www.bighorn.org

The National Bighorn Sheep Center is located in Dubois, Wyoming. Just outside our back door is Whiskey Mountain, once home of one of the world's largest wintering herd of Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep. The Center's mission is to provide education and outreach for the national conservation of wild sheep, wildlife, and wild lands. The exhibits feature several interactive displays, excellent taxidermy and dioramas recreating the habitat of bighorns and other wildlife.

This cute grizzly cub was sighted just west of Dubois in late-July. Remember to keep your distance from bears, wolves, and other wildlife and do not stop on the roadway to view bears. This cutie was accompanied by mom and a sibling.
