We’ve seen the recent post circulating and feel it’s necessary to clarify a few things. While we’ve remained quiet out of respect for the process, truth matters.
First and foremost, this situation is not about “small-town gossip” or being “threatened by outsiders.” This is about a lease agreement and business responsibilities not being met. The facts are simple: multiple attempts were made to resolve the issues privately and amicably. Those efforts were ignored or met with resistance.
Despite claims otherwise, proper legal steps were followed regarding the termination of the business agreement. It’s unfortunate that personal matters, such as medical procedures, are being used to distract from the real issue at hand: business commitments were not honored. No one is celebrating this outcome—it affects everyone involved—but misrepresenting the situation publicly is not the path forward.
We wish the individuals the best in their future endeavors, and we encourage anyone with questions to seek facts rather than speculation. Let’s not allow half-truths to damage reputations or mislead the community.
