We practiced counting up + money at our pretend restaurant today and the girls had a blast!

I used these visual recipes in my classroom, and they made a HUGE difference in helping my students build independence with cooking 🍳

Instead of worksheets, everything was broken down step-by-step with visuals and leveled support—and my students were actually able to follow along and make real food.

I’ve bundled everything together:
🍳 Breakfast
🥪 Lunch
🍿 Snacks
🍝 Dinner
🍪 Dessert
🧃 Drinks

Each recipe includes Level 1 (visual), Level 2 (more independent), and data sheets for tracking progress.

✨ I’m back… but not as Bloomery Designs! A little life update. ✨

Many of you knew me through Bloomery Designs—a business I created during a season of life when my older kids were in school. That chapter meant so much to me, but life has shifted, and so have I.

Now, I’m stepping into a new focus—one that truly reflects my passion and purpose. 💙

I’m a special education teacher, and I’ll be sharing the resources, tools, and strategies I use every day in my classroom to help students build independence—from the classroom to the community.
