Collab Part 1 with the amazingly talented šŸ‘Š

We crafted this frame out of some gorgeous Mountain Mahogany and sanded it up to be buttery soft 🤤. The colors in this wood complement this beautiful oil painting so wonderfully!

Catch it at Victoria’s art show at TOMORROW(3/29) from 6-8pm! There will be a bunch of her original paintings, prints, and a couple Sundog/Hollingsworth collaborations available for purchase šŸ™‚

I’m in love with how these sage wood candles turned out!

The solid sage wood containers are filled with a soy wax. This was my first time making candles, and to experiment with natural fragrance I decided to pick some sage leaves from a shrub in my backyard to steep in the melted wax. I was happy to find that it gave a lovely subtle sage scent and turned the wax a gorgeous light mint green color.

I’m in the process of making some juniper and mountain mahogany candles just like these as well. More to come soon!

Message me if you’re interested in purchasing something šŸ™‚

When you see a gigantic uprooted sage bush falling off the side of the road…you obviously bring it back to the shop and mill it up! The wood from Big Sagebrush may not be the most practical to work with but it’s worth it to me

I made this little business card holder/phone stand as a gift for my mom last year. Painted oak with mountain mahogany details.

Mountain mahogany is one of my favorite tree species and I can’t wait to work more with it. Despite being a common and abundant species, it’s not commercially available since it likes to grow in high, craggily, rugged places, and it’s size doesn’t really yield ā€œusableā€ lumber. It’s the second hardest wood in North America (a close second to Desert Ironwood), and it’s so dense that it sinks in water. It’s got a beautiful natural luster and is full of character!

I still have a small chunk of mountain mahogany and have some plans for it šŸ™‚

I’ll be working on building up inventory in the next few weeks. I’m also available for commissions- DM me if you wanna talk projects!
