Throwing it back to where it all started.

Before there was anything E&J, there were necklaces.

Emersyn & June was built one piece at a time, creating wearable reminders of God’s goodness through Bible verse necklaces. Each one carried a scripture, a promise, and a prayer.

One of the greatest blessings has been the continued support of my pastor, who faithfully orders these necklaces year after year for baptisms. It never gets old knowing these pieces are being given to people who are making such a bold declaration of faith and beginning a new chapter in their walk with Christ.

As I create each necklace, I find myself praying over the person who will one day wear it—that they would know they are loved, chosen, and never alone. What an honor it is to play a small part in celebrating such a meaningful moment.

Looking back at where Emersyn & June began reminds me that God has been faithful through every season. These necklaces aren’t just jewelry to me; they’re reminders of His promises and the countless ways He continues to show up.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted me to create these pieces over the years. Every order has been a gift, and every story behind them has been a reminder of just how amazing our God is.

Long but hopefully worth the read......

Mustard Seed Faith

I needed this reminder this week.

This week has brought opportunities that are exciting, humbling, and honestly a little scary. The kind of opportunities that require faith. The kind that makes you realize how much easier it would be to stay where you're comfortable.

As I sat down today to create this ring, I couldn't help but notice God's timing. It wasn't lost on me that on a week when I'm being asked to step into places that require more faith, I was creating a ring centered around a mustard seed.

Such a tiny thing.

Yet Jesus used it to teach one of the most powerful lessons about faith.

Not because a mustard seed is impressive, but because it reminds us that faith isn't about having all the answers. It's about trusting the One who does.

This special ring came to life through a collaboration with Ellen from 88 Silver, and today it became more than just a piece of jewelry. It became a tangible reminder of what God has been teaching me all week.

And God wasn't done reminding me.

Last night, I sat down to do my Bible writing. Normally, I do it in the morning, but life had gotten busy. I had been working through distractions, getting wrapped up in the things of this world, and honestly feeling discouraged.

Then I came across these words:

"Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only." — Matthew 4:10

There it was again.

A gentle reminder to take my eyes off everything else and place them back where they belong.

Then, when Ellen stopped by to drop off my ring blank, I shared with her how discouraged I had been feeling. As we visited, she offered wisdom and encouragement, and one thing she said stopped me in my tracks:

"God doesn't call us to be comfortable."

Those words settled right into my heart.

Because isn't that exactly what faith is?

Not having every answer.

Not knowing exactly how things will work out.

Not waiting until everything feels safe.

But trusting God enough to take the next step anyway.

I just love when God speaks like that.

When the same message keeps showing up through Scripture, through conversations, through godly friends, and through the smallest details that could easily be overlooked.

A mustard seed.

A verse.

A conversation.

A reminder.

God always shows up.

And it isn't lost on me that this week, in the middle of opportunities that require faith and obedience, He has been right here with me every step of the way, reminding me that I don't need to have it all figured out. I simply need to trust Him.

"If you have faith the size of a mustard seed... nothing will be impossible for you." — Matthew 17:20

Before & After: A Little Fabric, A Lot of Determination

Sometimes creativity looks like a perfectly organized shelf.

And sometimes it looks like fabric scraps covering every flat surface, half-finished ideas, stacks of projects waiting their turn, and a cutting table you can barely find.

This space has seen a lot of dreaming, creating, problem-solving, seam ripping, pattern testing, and "what if I tried this?" moments. While the mess wasn't exactly pretty, it was evidence of a creative season full of ideas.

After a lot of sorting, folding, organizing, and rediscovering fabrics I forgot I even owned, everything finally has a home again. The table is clear, the cabinet is organized, and I'm already feeling inspired to start the next project.

One thing I've learned over the years is that creativity isn't always neat and tidy. The magic often happens right in the middle of the mess. But every now and then, hitting the reset button makes room for fresh inspiration.

Happy Heavenly 94th Birthday, Grandma. 🤍

There are some people who leave this world, but never really leave us.

Today would have been your 94th birthday, and not a day goes by that I don’t wish I could pick up the phone, stop by for a visit, hear your voice, or sit across from you one more time.

I still find myself thinking, “I need to tell Grandma about this.” And then my heart remembers.

You were one of the safest places in my life. A steady presence. A listening ear. A woman whose love didn’t need grand gestures because it was felt in every hug, every conversation, and every moment spent together.

This picture will always make me smile. It captures the joy you found in life’s simple pleasures. Today I can’t help but wonder if Heaven serves banana splits, and if it does, I know you’re enjoying one but hopefully your sharing today lol

There is an ache that comes with loving someone this much and missing them this long. But there is also so much gratitude. Gratitude that I got to be your granddaughter. Gratitude for the memories. Gratitude for the lessons you taught without ever realizing it.

You helped shape who I am. Pieces of you show up in my life every day—in the way I love people, in the things I treasure, and in the memories I carry close to my heart.

And even now, your legacy lives on in ways you never could have imagined. When I chose the name Emersyn & June, it wasn’t just a business name. It was a way to carry a piece of you with me every single day. You are the June behind the name—a reminder of your strength, your love, and the beautiful impact you had on my life. Every time I see our sign, your name, and your memory live on.

I miss you more than words can say, Grandma.

Happy 94th Birthday in Heaven.

I’d give anything for one more hug, one more story, and one more banana split together.

Hello, June.

A new month is here, and with it comes a fresh page.

June feels a little different. It’s the halfway point of the year—a chance to pause, reflect on where we’ve been, and look ahead to where God is leading us. Some goals may have changed. Some dreams may have grown. Some plans may not have unfolded the way we expected.

And that’s okay.

There is still so much potential in the days ahead.

Whether you’re starting something new, picking up something you’ve put down, or simply learning to embrace this season you’re in, remember that every day is a new opportunity to begin again.

Here’s to slower mornings, meaningful moments, creative adventures, and trusting God with the chapters still waiting to be written.

Well… this post is a little later than I planned. 😊
