The seed library is fantastic! They have a variety of perennials and veggies. I grabbed some foxglove beardtongue and oxeye daisies to add to my garden. Love our little community 🩷🪴

Happenstance at Happystance Dinette in Douglas, MI. Two of our favorite women in the world repping good egg energy in front of fried egg wall paper is what we needed to see this weekend. 🍳 💛💛💛💛

Johanna is working part time for capitalism to bring you full time quantities of eggs, herbs, natural fibers and fun this summer.

Ebb and Phloem will not tolerate racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, misogyny or any other forms of bigotry. If that causes me to lose clients so be it. Basic human decency is the pillar I base my life on and I hold that above anything else.

Being a member of the q***r community myself and loving and caring for so many others that identify with these groups is more important to me than keeping clients.

To all the POC/women/minorities/and other fellow members of the rainbow alphabet. I see you. I love you. And I’ll never stop fighting and standing up for you.

Donald Trump is a threat not only to the American people and the world, but also the biggest threat to our climate and precious ecosystem. As a botanist and ecologist I can’t stand silent while he dismantles both mine and my loved ones lives, and destroy our planet in one fell swoop.

Time for a stiff drink 🥃

My proudest plant moment of my career. The bird of paradise in full bloom! Loving her life inside the . If you would have asked me before this if this was possible I would have said no way. It’s very rare to have a BOP bloom inside; yet here she is in all her glory.

I wish I could share the perfect combo for making this happen, but it’s no different than what I’ve always done. Chunky well draining soil, regular watering (using a moisture meter) with fish tank water, and very bright indirect light 🌞
