Calling all dumpling lovers! Well, maybe I should just say all squishy lovers, lol.

We got in a HUGE restock! We have dumplings (including the minis in a 4pk, so adorable), GLOW IN THE DARK dumplings, butters, peanuts, solids...so much!

Y'all. Look at this chunky little Highland cow soap dispenser. And if that wasn't enough, he's got a matching salt and pepper shaker buddy too.

Cows aren't really my decorating theme, but come on! Maybe I do need Highland cows in my kitchen. LOL.

Now I'm curious... if you had to pick one animal and run with it throughout your house, what would it be? Chickens? Cows? Ducks? Bees? Cardinals? Something completely different?

I feel like this could tell us a lot about each other. 😆

Some pieces just stop you for a second.

These vintage peacock chairs are one of those finds that feel straight out of an old garden party or tucked onto the porch of a big historic home somewhere. The detail in the ironwork is absolutely wild and somehow they manage to look delicate and dramatic at the same time.

I already know somebody is going to spot these from the road, and immediately start mentally rearranging their garden or porch to make them fit. I absolutely LOVE the rusted white but it would be so hard for me not to paint them turquoise, lol.

What color would you paint them or would you leave them as is?

Good morning from the newest little corner of The Porch that has quietly been taking over our lives behind the scenes for weeks now… the library is officially OPEN.

And when I say we’ve been working on this, I mean hauling shelves, moving stacks, alphabetizing until our eyes crossed, pricing what feels like approximately 50 bajillion books, reorganizing, second guessing, reorganizing again, and then immediately finding another box of books somewhere.

It is absolutely still a work in progress. There are still more books to price, more shelves to tweak, and probably at least three sections that only make sense to us right this second… but we are already loving how cozy it feels tucked back there behind those doors.

So if you’ve been needing a new mystery, cookbook, romance, western, kids book, or just an excuse to disappear into a quiet room full of books for a little while… the doors are open.

And honestly? We kinda never want to leave in there ourselves.
