At Hazelnut Growers of Oregon, our work is about supporting growers, strengthening that supply chain, and continuing to build what comes next for Oregon hazelnuts.

Our facilities process both natural and roasted hazelnuts in nearly every form, including whole kernels, diced hazelnuts, meal and flour, paste, praline, and industrial inclusions, creating opportunities for Oregon-grown hazelnuts across food manufacturing, retail and beyond.

But at the center of it all are our growers. Their work, their orchards and their commitment to this crop are what make this industry possible. We’re proud to be part of carrying that work forward, supporting Oregon growers today while building an even stronger future for the generations that follow.

Today we’re proud to celebrate Tina Millican, who has been recognized by the Oregon Department of Agriculture as part of Oregon’s 2026 International Year of the Woman Farmer.

After building a successful career in accounting, Tina returned to her agricultural roots and now serves as Command Center Operator at Scenic Valley Farm in Gervais. Her leadership has helped strengthen farm operations through financial expertise, innovation, and thoughtful decision-making.

One part of her story especially stood out to us: Tina shared that earning a seat at the table came through consistently demonstrating the value of her ideas and the impact of her work. That perspective reflects the resilience, dedication, and leadership found throughout Oregon agriculture.
