Checking in, it’s been a long bumpy couple of two years, been through a cancer battle with my brother, then having to keep going on after he lost his battle, now returning to an empty nest home again, it’s not easy, even if it’s the second time around.

Hello from the Storm-Lugo household and our foundation, it has been a while since I have posted, we have been hit hard with many deaths in our family and some close friends over these past three years, but likewise I have had some major health issues I have had to work through, pulmonary embolisms, lupus out of control, but finally getting a grip on that and the treatments are working. Thank Jehovah for that. Every day is a struggle for all of us these days, if we are not sick, somebody in our immediate family is. My heart goes out to all who have sick babies... or sick and elderly parents to have to deal with, because that means you are having to cope beyond the ordinary struggles of our lives. Hugs to you all, will be in touch more often, working on some great projects this year, with the help from my two teenagers... Wow that seems so strange to say they are already 14.

Thankfully the rains gave us a reprieve from this horrible triple digit heat indexes that we have been have around the 110-115 marks for the past two weeks plus, put a damper on getting out in my ministry work with my Lupus, looking forward to doing more for Jehovah and more for my foundation this fall! Bouncing back from health issues compounded with Hurricane Harvey! Thank you all for your continued support!

Life has taken some stressful turns and have sent me into a whirlwind of months all seeming to pass by without my realizing it. When I was a child, my Great Aunts and cousins all used to say...."Oh my how time sure is flying by with me standing still!" And I used to wonder what they meant, well now I know. So much has happened in this last three years that I have had so much to deal with and never seem to catch my breath before something else has hit me time and time again... so here is to my trying to slow down in my life and returning to what is most important to me in life. My spiritual goals first, family priorities second, my foundation third and all else will fall into place. Hope to be posting more regularly again.

Leona Mae Foundation has managed to give many gifts to recipients that have come in contact with me via my office, or spiritual sisters and brothers worldwide, and many facebook friends... I am grateful for the chance to send a sweet gift of love, handmade by me, using materials I had, or purchased or were donated to our foundation, please if you are interested in being in our group, please let me know, and I will add you. I am hoping to do much more great acts of love....in the near future.
