What is the reason the eagles have abandoned their nesting site? I don’t think enough was done to protect them. The bands they wore attest to the fact that they were captured multiple times, they have the new toys flying overhead from drones to military choppers. A no fly zone and over the island and less harassment might have worked. They were underrated as a tourist attraction for the big boats and all that traveled by them. Maybe they will return someday, when their home is safer for them. My thought is they are part of a relocation program for to populate other areas.
