Here's some scary fraud news.🚨 Seller impersonation fraud is getting more popular, according to our friends at ALTA.

According to this news release:

🛑 45% of title companies say they've dealt with at least one attempt in the last month.
🛑 23% say they've dealt with three or more recent attempts.
🛑 Those numbers don't include the attempts thwarted by Realtors before a transaction gets to a title company.

Seller impersonation fraud is surging as scammers use public records, stolen identities, and deepfakes to sell homes they don’t own.
