Message from Rachel:
Today is a ✨special✨ bittersweet day- our darling Miss Alice, after 10 years of serving you at The Peacock Room, is retiring. Alice, you truly embody the spirit of kindness and culture of hospitality I wanted to build within our walls when I first envisioned my shop. You empower everyone you meet, uplift them, guide them, mentor them, and tell them what they need to hear (whether they asked for it or not 😂🥹). You have served as a trusted confidante to me, many of our colleagues, and countless women who have twirled through our fitting rooms.

How many people have you crossed paths with that ended up touched by meeting you? You leave a trail of pixie dust wherever you go, and are unforgettable to those who spend time with you.
We've even heard a few times, "Miss Alice changed my life."

You have a generous spirit, and you give of yourself everything you would hope for yourself. Even in difficult moments, you always manage to find grace and patience.

You trained countless Peacocks in OLD SCHOOL service, and have been a style role model to, well, everyone who encounters you. You've gently pulled people from their comfort zone, encouraging them to wear something they previously hadn't- not "just because," but because you helped them see their next selves, and help them bring out their own authenticity.

Working alongside you all this time has made me a better human and a better coworker. We've seen each other at our most celebratory and most vulnerable moments, and I treasure you and the person you are. I know you've been there for members of our team through some very tough personal moments and have been their rock. Anyone who has welcomed you into their lives have been rewarded with love, guidance, and encouragement.

THANK YOU for being our Queen 👑 You had better make good on your promise to do special guest appearances- we will miss being alongside you on the regular, but anxiously await your visits!
