Today is Record Store Day. I lowered prices on hundreds of items on the online music store over the last few days, and will be adding new vinyl listings all day. Still have over 3100 items currently for sale. 25¢ and up. Most genres available. Type in a search, use the filters, or scroll through. Orders are free for local pickup in Detroit area.

Love this place. Over near Marble Bar and the Lincoln Street Art Park.
I’ve been a dedicated recycler for many Years and going here for a number of them. This is where all the glass, plastic, cardboard, paper, light bulbs, batteries, metal, broken electronics, and junk books, etc from The 37th Shield Library & Division Gallery went.

I would go through the garbage cans after events and work days and pick out the recyclables and returnables, wash, dry, bag and take back.

If I could have all those hours back, spent gathering, cleaning and sorting. It gives me peace of mind to know that I’m making an effort, even if it doesn’t make any difference in the bigger picture. At least I know I tried.
Salute to this place for stepping up where the city fell short.
