This year's Back to School Rally hosted by Hartford Memorial Baptist Church in Detroit has been UPGRADED to the Detroit Olympics!
Our Youth Ministry is partnering with TMI Detroit's IMPACTS Youth End of Summer Bash to give away free food, and host competitive events, hands
on activities & fun learning for all ages! Join us on Saturday, August 17th, from 11am – 3pm at Dave Bing Community Park (18901 Tracey Street, 48235).
We will have plenty of prizes for those who compete as well as
1000 FREE Bookbags & school supplies for every child who attends!
Since our vision has grown, so has our need for volunteers & donations.
If you, your ministry, your family or your business would like to volunteer your time, talent or resources, please call (313) 861-1300 and leave a message for Rev Jb. We humbly request each ministry to donate a minimum of $300, each family $100, and
each business $500 (or any amount that God directs you to give). Thank you for supporting this event and the

If I had just to tell God THANK YOU! FOR Hartford Memorial Baptist Church in Detroit, and for the LIFE of Reverend Doctor Charles Gilchrist Adams!!! 🙏
My (spiritual) - a strong pillar in my life and to the world is physically gone, but he left us his strength and mission.
Back in the 1990s, Dr. Adams came into the prison to preach. He got in my face, and said, quote, "And you, you can do anything if you put God in the mix!"
We must continue his work and ministry in every part of the world.
Dr. Adams "PA" taught us the church begins for us every day of our lives.
What are you doing to help others, enrich lives and giveback to the community where you live?
What are you doing to lend a helping hand?
Get up, go out there and love somebody!!
The religious faith based community has a duty and responsibility to address the ills we are facing in society, and DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEM.
Every God fearing institution ought to have a prison in-reach & outreach ministry.
This is what Rev. Dr. Charles Gilchrist Adams, Emeritus Pastor of Hartford Memorial Baptist Church believed, and he practiced what he preached!
Thank God, I got what I got, and I am who I am, and I feel what I feel, I will just say THANK YOU! THANK YOU LORD! AMEN.

Hi Everybody:
TMI Detroit Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to helping at risk youth, veterans, formerly incarcerated and individuals receiving public assistance find success through mentoring, job readiness and life skills training, job placement assistance, workshops and follow up.
TMI is TOO MUCH ILLITERACY
TMI is TOO MUCH INCARCERATION
And at Christmas time, TMI is TOYS MAKING I.M.P.A.C.T.S.
It is very similar to the US Marine's Toys For Tots Program, but different, because TMI Detroit Inc. does more than seek help to collect "brand new unwrapped toys and bikes; we also collect pre-owned "like new and clean" toys and bikes, to give, as Christmas gifts, to some well deserving children of incarcerated parents, foster care children, orphaned children and/or children whose parents met their demise due to crime.
We have been doing this since 2006.
You all can help us by locally putting toy-collection boxes in place, for your associates/employees to help us collect brand new unwrapped and/or pre-owned "like new and clean" toys and bikes for children ages newborn to 14 years old, before Friday, December 16, 2022.
Donated toys and bikes will be distributed to children in need at the 2022 TOYS MAKING IMPACTS COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS PARTY, Thursday, December 22, 2022.
