I get asked these questions a lot, so I thought I'd answer a few!

❓ Do you design all of your own patterns?
✔️ Yes! Every VenomDolls pattern is designed by me from scratch.

❓ Do you sell the patterns?
✖️ No. The patterns stay in-house so VenomDolls creatures remain unique to the brand.

❓ Is every plushie handmade?
✔️ Yes! Every plushie is handmade right here in Detroit, Michigan.

❓ How many people are in VenomDolls?
🖤 VenomDolls is owned and operated by artist Kylee Venomdoll. Every creature, character, and pattern starts in my brain and gets brought to life by my hands.

I also have two amazing helpers who assist with sewing and production. I truly couldn't do this without them, and I'm so grateful for everything they do.

❓ What inspired you to make these weird little stuffed animals?
🖤 I've always had an overactive imagination and creating strange little friends has always come naturally to me.

I chose plushies because I've loved them for as long as I can remember. They helped me through some really difficult times growing up, and even now they still bring comfort.

Living with Major Depressive Disorder has made me appreciate how important it is to have things that bring joy, comfort, and connection. Building VenomDolls has given me purpose, and I hope my creations can bring a little bit of that feeling to others too.

One thing that's always been important to me is supporting other artists and makers. Whenever VenomDolls succeeds, I do my best to share that success with the creative community around me.

Phew! Just got back from the post office & it definitely feels good to have zero orders in the Que right now!

I love checking things off my check list. Today I'll be working on some pattern drafting & jamming music super loud!
