Today on Tuesday Tips we are talking about working with Jen Kingwell's Lollies fabrics. Her brand new Gathered collection just arrived at the shop last week. You can always use them as a way to get a huge variety of fabrics for a scrappy quilt project. Bonus - Jen with her wonderful eye for color and design coordinated these scrappy prints for you!

But you can also do some fun things by using that little divider strip that gets printed in between the eight Lollies. Disclaimer - This is not a quilting related post! LOL Though flowers have certainly been the inspiration for many fabric collections and nature is always a great way to get color palette ideas.

Nathan and I took off a bit early Friday afternoon so we could make a visit to Bergeson Nursery to see their flower beds. They use them as a testing ground for new plant varieties and fill in with lots of annuals so they are an amazing display of color. If you’re local to us, plan a visit to see the gardens and check out their extensive nursery selection. Bergeson’s is located near Crookston, MN. If you’re not local, enjoy the pictures!
