In today's "You don't see that very often" file, we have an Airline 7214 Amp in Case guitar amplifier manufactured for and sold by Montgomery (Monkey) Ward. Players in the '60s were looking for all sorts of new ways to make the life of gigging easier to manage. It combines a guitar case and an amplifier into one, allowing anyone to easily travel and set up on the go with a great-sounding classic amp. We are told that unfortunately the previous owner's son used the guitar that came with this as a canoe paddle so that is probably at the bottom of a lake somewhere. 😁😁😁 Stop in anytime and check out this rare bird while it's still here.

Next on In The Round is Edwin McCain, the talented South Carolinan singer-songwriter known for his late 90s hits “I’ll Be” and “I Could Not ask For More” – and more recently, his goofy TikTok videos. Edwin is still a touring machine, playing both his own gigs and opening for pals like Hootie & The Blowfish and Train, and he also released a new album in 2025 called “Lucky”. Edwin stopped by Trilix Studio to tell us some hilarious stories about his rise to fame, how it almost didn’t happen, and fill us in on life as it is now, including his dirt excavating side hustle.
