👓 From small-town roots to expert eye care!

Meet Dr. Vander Wilt, a dedicated optometrist whose journey began in Buffalo Center, Iowa. After earning her BA in Chemistry and studying abroad in the Netherlands, she pursued her OD at Pacific University College of Optometry. With hands-on experience in primary care, ocular disease, and pediatric eye care, Dr. Vander Wilt has spent the last decade serving the Des Moines metro with compassionate, expert vision care.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys quilting, golfing, diamond painting, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes! 🏈🐶

Dr. Vander Wilt is taking appointments for new and returning patients at One Hour Optical. We’d love to see you!
