Hey Everyone, I am Chef Cass owner/operator of the Culinary Annex. Figure I would reintroduce myself since I have some new followers and Its fall🍂! My favorite time of year!

Why is it my favorite time of year? I love soup🍜🍲! I have a deep love of dark beers. I am also one of those people that likes pumpkin spice anything… dont judge! I admit it! But I am not basic by any means…

Anyone who has come to one of my classes knows a bit about me. But some things you might not know. I love to work of various arts and craft in my spare time. I originally went to college for Studio Art and I always wanted to write and illustrate a graphic novel. I learned how to do traditional printmaking there and its still one of my favorite mediums to work with.

When the weather is nice you will find me traipsing through the woods with my doggo and my family, in search of edible things (mainly mushrooms). 🍄‍🟫

I dabble in gaming as well. If anyone knows what StarCraft is and wants to play…. I also love animated shows and movies. My favorite movie is Princess Mononoke and my favorite show is Steven Universe⭐️. Thankfully my little family loves watching them with me.

Hope this gives you a little insight into my world as an avid food lover and a nerd!
