I just a moment ago assembled this centuries old Historic Warren Kinney White Oak. The hand rubbed oil finish has dried enough to place her in the hands of the new owner tomorrow. Very exciting! I will completely button her up in the next week or so. Very proud to hand this one over! Heck of a journey going from a 600 year old log to this beautiful guitar! Love it! 🎵

Another hand Bursted top ready for oil. Building guitars is quite an undertaking I must admit. When I finally reach the point in the build where I have strung it up, played it to satisfaction, I then disassemble it for the final time. When I apply the finish it is so crucial. No one is happier to see these pictures than me. I've done it. Another one completed!

This is going to be a very sweet To***co Bursted Red Spruce top that blends very nicely with the White Oak Sides and back. The hand rubbed Natural Oil finish that I am about to apply will make the baby absolutely stunning! Stay tuned! 🎶

I am looking forward to wrapping up the Ancient White Oak Trifecta! The two King Snake Models with Red Spruce Tops alongside a sweet little "Terz" that I call my Little Paula Model featuring a Sitka Spruce Top. I'll be applying oil finish to these and putting them in the hands of their new owners. The 600 year old white oak that I have left will be safely stored for future use. After 12 consecutive White Oak Guitars it will be nice to begin a new chapter! Stay tuned! 🎶

In my little shop I hand build acoustic guitars. I use only sustainable woods, not because it's trendy, but because I've always believed I could build exotic sounding guitars NOT using exotic wood. The top three guitar factories, you know who they are, build a combined total of approximately 2500 instruments PER DAY, every day, year after year. I use every ounce of creativity to build to completion maybe 4-5 per year. I welcome you to compare dollar for dollar when thinking about purchasing your next Custom Built Acoustic Guitar. 😊

The story of the historic Warren Kinney Oak lives on! Imagine a tree which had grown in this meadow since the year 1400 or so. A "Witness tree" as it has been said. Ideal conditions allowed her to peacefully live out her life for over 600 years until she could no longer hold herself up during a powerful windstorm. How lucky I have been to be able to build these two superior sounding musical instruments from her!
