Copper Buffalo 2 is getting close… but she’s not ready to leave the barrel just yet. 🦬🥃

After 3.5 months finishing in those beautiful Buff Turkey barrels, the blend is now sitting at an absolutely wild 140.66 proof at 21 years and 2 months old.

That’s right.
Hazmat guaranteed.

And somehow through all that proof, it’s drinking with unbelievable balance. Deep caramelized sugars, dark red fruit, a nice touch of oak, brûlée vanilla, and that rich thick mouthfeel that only comes from extended aging and patience.

This is the part most people never see—the waiting. Letting the barrels keep talking. Letting the whiskey decide when it’s done.

The Barrel Selection is one of four private experiences available at our Louisville location. You taste through a curated set of single-barrel samples — each one sourced from Kentucky, Indiana, or Ohio, brought to Colorado to finish their aging. When something speaks to you, that’s when the barrel becomes yours.

Kentucky makes great whiskey. Colorado does something else entirely.

Snow at 7 AM. 55 degrees by 2 PM. Those pressure swings force the whiskey in and out of the
barrel wood far more often than it would in any Kentucky rickhouse.
