The Boomers are downsizing, shedding things and moving on while the millennials are sizing up things and moving in. As America's two largest population groups head in different directions, We Keep Up the Hand Me Down Spirit-between folks who are generations apart. But the "purging and splurging" is not happening between siblings. The recent college grad is not enamored with Grandma's flatware or the old "davenport" And that's where Hot Shot Furnishings takes aim. We transform huge 1940's chestnut desks into thin, twin nightstands, with beautiful drawers and pull-out writing surfaces that can now hold tablets, phones and snacks. We rescue solid oak dressers, metal bedframes, castors, cabinets and hunks of rustic car parts to create the perfect condo kitchen island. We turn chairs into checkerboards and have perfected the 60's suitcase table. Our accent tables speak retro fluently and our repurposed, original table lamps turn tresure into art. We keep mid century modern simple.
