I lost my Mom before I became a Mom, so I never had the opportunity to share this day with her.

During the pandemic, I started sharing things my Mom loved, stories about her and lessons she taught me with my Mom friends. It's become my favorite part of Mother's Day; reminiscing, and deciding which pieces of my Mom to share each year.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms. Anyone struggling to become a Mom. Anyone who's lost their Mom or has a strained relationship. And especially to any Mom who's lost a child. ❤️

I hope everyone exercises their right to vote today! I grew up in a very political minded home and my Dad always took me with him when he went to cast his ballot. We talk politics with our kids, nieces, nephews and cousins, hoping that they'll take their responsibility seriously. 🇺🇲
