Introducing the Valve Practice Block.

This small 3-valve practice tool helps brass students practice valve combinations, finger coordination, and muscle memory even when their instrument isn’t available.

Students can use it to work on:

• scales and fi*****ng patterns
• valve coordination
• silent practice away from the instrument

The design uses mechanical keyboard switches as the valve return to create a simple and durable practice tool.

Two versions are currently available:

• Trumpet
• Low Brass (Euphonium / Baritone / Tuba)

You can get it in two ways:

• Download the files and print your own if you have access to a 3D printer
• Purchase a printed version (coming soon)

And the question that keeps coming up is, “Are fun colors coming?”

TMEA 2026 was incredible. It was such a privilege to meet so many directors already using Thumb Gummi and hearing how it is helping students build consistent, confident hand position.

It was especially meaningful to meet so many teachers already using Thumb Gummi and to hear your success stories. Seeing the real impact it’s having in band rooms across the country is incredibly rewarding.

✨ New product coming soon for flute players ✨

We’ve been working on a new Thumb Gummi designed specifically for flute students. This upcoming product helps promote proper hand position, improve balance, reduce hand tension, and prevent players from wrapping their thumb too far under the flute.

We’re excited to support flute students and teachers with another simple tool that makes learning more comfortable and consistent.

If you’re attending Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA), you’ll be able to check it out in person.

Are you headed to the Illinois Music Educators Conference this weekend, keep an eye out for Thumb Gummi.

One of our amazing Illinois music store partners, Andre Alfonso Music, just put out a great video highlighting the products and is featuring Thumb Gummi as part of the conference scavenger hunt. Stop by their booth, complete their challenge, and you can take home a sample Thumb Gummi to try with your students.

You will also be able to test out the full Thumb Gummi lineup, including a sneak peek at our upcoming Flute Thumb Gummi that has not been released yet.
