The Open Society and Its Enemies by Karl Popper, signed by him and inscribed to Diana Spearman. Third edition, 1957. Popper says that if he had known about Spearman s 1939 book Modern Dictatorship, he wouldn t have felt the need to write this one! The novels of Samuel Richardson! Twenty thick volumes... and within them, only three novels: Pamela, Clarissa Harlowe, and Sir Charles Grandison. In a super limited Founder s edition #13 of only 15, the first volume signed by the editor William Lyon Phelps. Frontispieces are hand-colored with artist s signatures in pencil, and illustrations are also duplicated/triplicated throughout. Not sure why, exactly. A very handsome, very scarce edition of this set.

Paul Wilbur Klipsch, the Life, the Legend! by Maureen Barrett and Michael Klementovich, and signed by Paul's wife Valerie Klipsch. I used to know a guy who built high-end audio equipment, and I really hope he knew Paul... similar levels of eccentricity, I think :) Published in 2002. He died shortly thereafter, and I think his signature in the book is a facsimile.
