When the disciples saw Him walking on the water, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost!” they said, and cried out in fear.… Matthew 14:26
Remember when JESUS was walking on the water towards the disciples they did not recognize Him. This is because God is hard to recognize in the storm. But Jesus knowing their predicament walked towards them. He knew how fearful they were. He was their very present help in time of their trouble. Maybe, you feel He’s abandoned you in the high seas. God has not left you, He’s so close to you, though you are unable to see or feel Him, He’s there. He will strengthen and help you. If He’s calling you to step out of the boat, do it boldly. Keep your eyes on Him. No storm can drown you when He’s near.
