Happy Earth Day!! I wanted to give a shout out to a really good buddy of mine of 4 years 😊 my water bottle! It goes everywhere I do. It travels with me every single day to and from work, on walks, on hikes, and every adventure possible. No need for plastic water bottles ever again! ♻️🌎♻️

So after months of collecting red onions skins and my boyfriend calling me a crazy person 🤪 I have enough to test dye on some natural fibers!

I love adding color to my products but I want to use what our great mother nurture gives us 🍃🌱

If you have any tried and true recipes let me know, I’d love to hear what works and what doesn’t.

So for those of you that also need a reminder... be kind to yourself, go at your own pace. Even if it’s tiny steps.

I’ve been radio silent for the last few months. So much has happened and I've been trying to find the right balance between work, my health, family schedules, chores, and college schoolwork, but it has been quite challenging. I’ve decided to take a break from school to try and take better care of myself.

But I am still doing my best to get my business up and running, even if it’s one tiny step at a time.

I've been working on putting samples together, choosing the right eco-friendly fabrics. I’m also super excited to have been playing with natural dyes to add colors to spice things up.

I was relaxing and packaging our products this past weekend with recycled paper and h**p twine. I had tons of extra paper from a fashion event that was postponed due to -19. So I was happy to reduce waste and create packaging material for my products. ⠀

Recycling Day!! ♻️♻️♻️
Unfortunately our building no longer offers recycling services. So we take a drive to the recycling drop off location. It’s a bit of a drive for us but I hate the idea of it all going straight into the landfill.

Do any of you struggle with recycling in your area or the buildings you live in??
