Friends, Music Lovers, Neighbors,
The time has come. We have tried to deny the inevitable, but the writing is on the wall.
Beginning Tuesday the 17th of March, 2020 Twist and Shout will be closing until such time that the simple, wonderful act of shopping for records is not life-threatening.
We can no longer justify the risks to our beloved staff and to you, the community we call home. Nothing makes us sadder than to have to lock the doors, but the well-being of all of us has to take precedence. We urge everyone in Denver and beyond to take this threat seriously. Think not only of your own health, but of those you hold dear– your parents, grandparents and friends. We all share this risk and we will all be part of the solution. It has been a dream come true to run Twist and Shout these last 32 years, and we hope after a short hiatus it will continue. We wish each of you safety, security and love.
