✨PURPLE-LEAF SAGE✨

Purple-Leaf Sage, Salvia blepharophylla, is native to Mexico! It blooms vibrant, red-orange tubular flowers during late spring and fall, which contrast beautifully against its dark purple and green foliage. The leaves possess faint “eyelash-like hairs” on their edges, so characteristically that it’s also referred to as “Eyelash Sage.” Purple-Leaf Sage prefers full sun with afternoon shade and grows 1-2’ H x 1-2’ W. It is best to treat this colorful specimen as an annual for us, though it is a perennial species in warmer climates.

✨NEW ‘RED DRAGON’ ROCK ROSE 🐉✨

This new Pavonia is a hybrid of the native pink, Pavonia lasiopetala, and (questionably) a South American native, Pavonia missionum! Unlike the ‘Ellen’s Legacy,’ this cultivated species possesses a brighter, primary-color of red in its flower vs the ‘Ellen’s’ deeper-burgundy tones. It performs well in full sun to dappled shade, and tolerates various soil types. ‘Red Dragon’ Rock Rose grows 2-4’ H x 2-3’ W and attracts bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Our newest plants should be fully rooted by next week, check them out on your next visit!

🌱🌟MILKWEED IS NOW AVAILABLE ✨🐛

Our milkweed is finally ready for sale! This year we tested a new method for sowing, which was successful for some species, and less for a few others. Thank you for your patience during this new process!

In the first release, we have Butterfly (A. tuberosa), Common (A. speciosa), Pink Swamp (A. incarnata), and Whorled (A. verticillata) available!

Antelope Horns (A. asperula) and Green (A. viridis) are still to be determined, though we will post when more are ready. Stay tuned and happy planting!!!! 🐛🐛🐛🐛🧡
