Good morning! Another beautiful day! ☀️

Just wanted to take a quick minute and show you what we’ve been working on.

We are now planting our 3rd variety of perennials and we aren’t stopping here! 💪🌱💚

So far rudbeckia (black-eyed Susan), liriope - variegata and now EIGHT, yes EIGHT colors of echinacea (cone flower). So excited!!

The rudbeckia and liriope are already rooted and ready for sale!

Be on the lookout for my post when the mums are moved to our retail area! Pansies, violas, pumpkins, etc are coming soon! Here comes fall! 🍂🍁🍃🎃👻

You’ve made it to hump day! 🐫 The week is all down hill from here. 😃

I just wanted to introduce you to a perennial we’ve never sold before, but it’s quickly got our attention! 😍

We like to sell perennials that are popular, but we are also always looking for ones that are different, but that we would want in our own gardens. I think this Anemone - Robustissima fits that category. Also called a wind flower, this variety thrives in full sun to part shade and resists deer and rabbits. It is also great for cottage gardens or woodland edges. This Anemone is extremely hearty, has attractive grape leaf foliage and blooms from August to October! It’s hard to find late summer/early fall blooming perennials, so get yours before they’re gone!

The turtleheads are finally starting to show! 😍

This is a perennial called Chelone, aka Turtlehead. This variety specifically is Tiny Tortuga and is considered deer-resistant, attracts pollinators and has flowers that resemble little turtle heads! 🐢🐢🐢

It can take full or part sun and would be perfect for an area by water or in a sprinkler zone.

Ok, I apologize, but it’s time for me to gush again about this man, my husband, Adam.

This picture shows the absolute determination a self-employed person can have. He got up at 4am to move the mums, beat the heat and to keep all the mums watered in sync. He has now planted, watered, fertilized and moved every mum to our field ALL BY HIMSELF! 😳 🤯

This is what is different from when you buy from a chain store. We literally put our blood, sweat and tears into each and every plant. They mean something to us. When you are at our counter paying for your plants, we are remembering planting and watering that plant for months and are proud that you are picking our plants when you could have gone anywhere. Do you think the chains or even local stores that sell plants but don’t grow them do this? Nope!

Oh and btw, I’m not sitting around either. Our deal was I’m watering every plant in our store today. 🥵
