More progress on the 6.5 project. The floorplate and barrel are about 1/3 done with polish. Doing this old school no power tools, just paper and hand work. This will be 100 percent an old school style rifle. It's going to be a rust blued wood stocked, hand worked tack driver.

This one is AMAZING, this is one if the prettiest pieces of wood I have seen in a while. Not the fanciest, but really just striking in the way the grain runs.

We build heirlooms, not just rifles. Old school stock work today. This one is just getting started, first rough sand after shaping and bottom metal inlet adjustments. LOOK AT THE COLORS ON THIS PIECE OF WOOD. This was the not as pretty piece too. **er **er

One more ma**er project in the works. Again this receiver was sitting around crying to become a rifle. It's a Parker Hale Commercial ma**er. The barrel is an ER Shaw custom 6.5x55 in a nearly Re*****on Sendero style contour. The stock is a pretty piece of Claro Walnut. It's got a ways to go but seemed like something fun to do with some extra parts.

THIS ONE HAS SOLD!

Here is a chance to own a custom built Parker Hale Ma**er action 338 Win Mag. This rifle is in a European Walnut Custom one of a kind stock. This stock was done at our request for this customer many years ago. It is hand engraved and scallop checkered. The stock was imported from Europe just for this build and was the only one we got in as I lost touch with the maker. The action is bedded with steel bed epoxy.

It's McGowan Barrel, high polish blued with Christie's Bluing Salts, the bolt and extractor are polished in the white, and bottom metal is steel hinged floor plate type. There have been a total of less than 20 rounds fired. Guns like this don't pop up everyday, PM for details and more info.

Doing it old school, milsurp 98 action that has been in the personal collection crying for a project. If you have an old sporterized or otherwise surplus action to your use, let us turn it into something classic.

This one had been partly sporterized and I took it home to someday make a nice rifle from, that was 15 years or more ago. I decided to brush up some skills on this one. It's going to be a heavy barrel 308 in a GRS stock. Had the barrel and stock so seemed like a project was destined to happen.

THE 30-6 IS GONE, THE 270 STILL NEEDS A HOME.

Have a couple more modern ma**er rifles in the shop. These are Ma**er M96 straight Pull action rifles. Only made in 1996 and 1997, they were the last ma**er design before the company was sold. We have a pair of them, one in 270 Win and One in 30-06. Both in very nice shape and accurate. They both will be wearing Huskemaw 4-16 Blue Diamond 30mm Tube scopes in Leupold Bases and rings. The one on the bipod is in 30-06 the 270 is laying flat. The rifles minus scopes are about 6lbs.

Yet again the working man of the cartridge world steps out on top. He didn't even touch on the fact that with newer powders you can get factory loads that virtually duplicate 300WM performance these days.
