You may, or may not, have noticed that we dipped out on 2024.
With the constant changes in our lives we decided to press pause on our CedarThreads dream. We didn’t fail. We didn’t give up. We paused.
To Ellen and I (Amanda), CedarThreads is more than T-shirts and hoodies. CedarThreads is first and foremost about our friendship with one another.
The hardest part for both of us, when it came to the pause (hibernation as I called it), was not being “forced” to work / hangout multiple times a week and talk daily. While “working” we would often talked about how we should record us watching Gilmore Girls as we screen printed, and film our car rides as there are many ridiculous moments of laughter and plenty of heartfelt tears along the way.
So here we are in 2025. A brand new year to dip our toes into, or sink boats in. We are building a boat 🛶 that hopefully will float — maybe this boat will be apart of our Viking burial — maybe we will get to see sun rises and sunsets that take our breath away. We invite you to watch us sink or swim.
