Tùsail Custom Nautical Flags Every letter of the alphabet is represented by a nautical flag. I make personalized boards from 1- 20 letters.

Things are busy here with Tùsail. Today I discovered the chisel...i think it will have a significant impact on my work going forward. I have lots of projects in the works, few of which I can share because they are gifts for the holidays. Working with some new types of wood, including butternut, which is quite rare and very beautiful. Wanted to post a "before and after" of some barnwood that will soon have nautical flags attached to it. Another gift I can't show the final version of yet. Handmade Nautical Flag Monogram boards and apparel.

While working on a board tonight, I got distracted and started sanding into a natural ridge in the wood. Two hours later I had created this beautiful ly thin valley. I was determined not to stop until I could hold it up to the light and see it shine through the wood. I did it...stopping within minutes of piercing holes in this piece...why does this fill my soul with such gratification.? I really don't know what it is about it but I have to force myself to find a place to stop and to return to my family. I love doing this...I just may have found that thing...my thing...
