I have a memory from when I was a baby. One of those vivid, comforting recollections that stays with you forever. I remember watching soft light dance and stream through the window blinds, glowing around me just like the light in this picture. It was a feeling of total warmth, peace, and quiet wonder. As I paint this silicone baby (my absolute dream baby) that exact memory floods through quite often. Every single detail I put into her is deeply intentional, connecting my own earliest childhood memories directly into her creation.
I wanted to weave both my Husband Robert and I, lives into her story. Beyond the soft warmth of that childhood light, I was just as intentional when it came to painting her delicate veining. I carefully painted and replicated her veins from my husband, Robert, placing a part of him into her details right alongside my own memories.
She holds a piece of our hearts in ways I can barely explain. Even her name carries a meaning that goes so much deeper than just a regular name. A special meaning that I can’t wait to share with you all very soon. Everything I am pouring into her comes from a place of deep connection, love, and purpose. This is what I call warmth, memories, and true artistry coming together.
